Our Overview

Since its founding over three decades ago, Classic Delight has been a trusted provider of ready-to-eat sandwiches. From humble beginnings, we went from producing just a few sandwiches to a product line with over 60+ items in the first 25 years of operation.

Through organic growth and recent acquisitions, Classic Delight currently has products in K-12, Convenience, Vending and Food Service operations with over 200 unique products. With an eye to the future, Classic Delight continues to grow and reach more consumers.

Classic Delight founded in Columbus, OH

1988

NEW FACILITIES

A USDA production plant located in St. Marys,
OH was purchased to meet production needs.

1993

EXPANDED PRODUCTION

The company added additional production
equipment to produce new product lines.

Our in-house lab monitors plant environment and performs micro-testing to ensure food safety. Pre-op inspections are completed daily to ensure equipment has been thoroughly cleaned each night.

Marvin joined GoodSource Solutions in 2013 as the Vice President of Procurement and was promoted to Vice President of Product Development and Sourcing in 2014. In 2021, Mr. Marvin was promoted to Vice President of Exclusive Brands overseeing all corporate brands for GS Foods Group. Mr. Marvin previously served as General Manager of Heartland Meat Company, Inc. where he helped implement new vendor relationships and crafted partnerships with other food distribution companies in Southern California. He has over 19 years’ experience in the food industry with knowledge ranging from food service sales, distribution, and manufacturing.
